What Are You Thankful For? Show Us With a Picture

Share what you're thankful for this holiday season with Patch readers.

Although gratitude should not be contained to Thanksgiving alone, it's a holiday that reminds us to be thankful for what we have.

So you tell us: What are you thankful for this holiday season?

Your family? Your friends? The community you live in? Share your story of gratitude with our readers in the comment section below.

I’ll go first.

I’m thankful for you, our readers. We appreciate that you read this site and that you care enough to comment on it (that includes you political commenters). Without you, there wouldn’t be a North Allegheny Patch, so thank you!

Thank you also to all the volunteers in our community, including local firefighters. I hope NOT to see you guys on Thanksgiving for any oven fires.

As always, I’m thankful for my family. 2012 was a rough one for us, we lost my pap—a WWII veteran, a mean poker player and a terrific husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. I’m thankful we had him in our lives.

What about you? Submit your stories in the comment section below, and if you like, upload a picture showing everyone who or what you are thankful for this holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
