McCandless Crossing Update: A 30-Second Tour of the Site
Project Manager Bob McGurk takes Patch on a quick tour of the multi-million dollar development.
Riding in a compact pick-up truck while dodging massive earth moving equipment, AdVenture Project Manager Bob McGurk recently gave Patch a quick tour of the final phase of McCandless Crossing. (see video).
Site preparation, on the east side of McKnight Road between Duncan Avenue and Cumberland Road, has been going on since last spring. Construction will soon begin on a Dick's Sporting Good store, a HomeGoods store, a Cinemark theater, several restaurants and 53 Ryan townhouses. McGurk says more than 100 names are on the waiting list for the townhouses.
McGurk expects a number of the businesses will open in 2014 with the entire project reaching completion in 2015.
