Glass and Pottery Collectibles*

Many of our
parents or grandparents used what we now call Depression Glass for their
everyday tableware. Or they had unusual pieces of pottery salt and
pepper shakers or serving dishes on the table at every meal. Some of
these items are still being used or stored away in our homes today and
we often wonder about their history and their worth today.
Joyce Kuruce and Robert Lanza, of Antiques and Uniques of Bellevue, know
the value of those old glass and pottery pieces and they invite you to
bring one or two items of glass or pottery to a library program. They
will share some interesting background on glass and pottery of many
years ago and will give an informal appraisal of the items you treasure.
You may register for this program online or by contacting the Adult
Service Desk at 412-366-8100 ext. 113.
