In the Oct. 4 robbery, a man who claimed he had a weapon fled with an undisclosed amount of cash after holding up the First National Bank branch in McCandless.

The man did not show a weapon after walking into the bank branch at 1701 Duncan Ave. at 9:15 a.m., according to McCandless police. He demanded money in a note he handed to the teller.

The suspect then ran out of the bank and down an embankment, jumping into a red getaway car driven by another person. The red car drove off towards Sample Road, police said.
