North Allegheny Places Second in School Rankings

See how the district compares to other schools in the northern Allegheny County suburbs.

The North Allegheny School District ranked second among the top 50 area high schools for best standardized test scores, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.

The combined SAT score of 1,705 in 2012 was up 11 points from the previous year's score of 1,694.

Out of 572 North Allegheny Senior High School students tested, the average verbal score was 566, the average math score was 582, and the average writing score was 557.
