5K Race in North Park To Honor Fallen West View Marine
Proceeds from the race benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund.
Organizers of the third annual Fearless 5K are hoping for more than a thousand runners at North Park on Saturday, June 29.
The race was organized to honor West View native and North Hills High School graduate Marine Sgt. Joseph Caskey, 24, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010.
The race begins at 8:30 a.m. at North Park Board House, 303 Pearce Mill Road, Allison Park.

The cost is $20 for runners who pre-register by Friday, June 28, and $25 for those who register on race day.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, a charity that provides financial assistance to wounded Marines and their families.

American Legion Post 80 in Ross Township was renamed last year in honor of Sgt. Caskey.
