Help a Vet: Donation Box Available to McCandless Residents

All household goods are welcomed.

The Keystone Paralyzed Veterans of America have teamed up with the Town of McCandless and American Thrift Stores to bring the residents of McCandless an opportunity to donate household goods to veterans in need. 

A 24-hour donation box has been placed behind Town Hall (located at 9955 Grubbs Road) against the fence, next to the cardboard and trash dumpsters.

All household goods are welcomed. Accepted items include clothing, shoes, small household appliances, household goods and small furniture (living room chairs, end tables, lamps and mattresses).

American Thrift Stores will also make a special pick up if you wish to donate larger items. If you wish to make a large item donation, please call 412-469-9663.
