The Special Needs child's Civil Rights have clearly been violated. The conviction will be thrown outRead More on appeal, but generally civil trials must wait for the outcome of criminal trials. Recal that while OJ Simpson was found not guilty of the criminal offense, he was found guilty in the civil action and made to pay. One outcome doesn't necessarily influence the other.

Police often ask various people where a crime was committed if they have a video camera and use thisRead More as evidence. This special teen was being bullied, and as I was taught you need proof. He provided the proof and he is found guilty. That is definitely wrong. Its showing us bullying is okay. This is sick! I hope his mother sues all involved and the school and then makes a public apology to this family and the world. I would like to slap these bullies around a few times now. They are the guilty ones. Im a firm believer now that money talks, and not the truth.

Vinnie B., why are you getting upset with the criticism which is being launched against this orRead More these parents, and rightfully so. Kids are a 24/7 job and they need to be(not should be) under surveillance every second of the day (especially in this day and age). Now if one can't seem to do that and if one cant conform to that, then one does not need children!!!So having said that Vinnie B,. your getting upset over criticism toward these parents is a small price to pay compared to the evil that could have happened to this child by getting hit by a car or by getting picked up by a pedophile or any of the other numerous bad things that could have happened to the child.

strange how we respond just as the terrorists desire us to. the media commemorates each incident asRead More if it were a new profit center to mine for every last click. whole populations now sit in fear of another 'something' about to happen, never again, fully safe like we were in the good old days of the cold war? once these bstrds hit us deep inside our own turf we have not become stronger, but rather 'hardened', emboldened in our delusions of ultimate superiority, no longer safe on our 'island of north america'. each of these events changes us all even imperceptably, forcing us to accept their motives, their ideals, their imam imposed concept of living. we act in unison, determined to show them we are not affected, yet that very demonstration reveals our inner need to respond, to re-affirm our own injury, each of those crowd-felt sympathies we all cling to, even if for the brief moment of our 'crowd'. be strong, and further, be alert, be conspicuous in manner in which you care for each other. shy not away from those who seek your death, but do not embrace them, as they fein no challenge to seek close to your demise.

It can be annoying to get news from areas other than your own, however the new Patch is doing things differently, and show no evidence of changing it back.....my best advice would be to ignore stories not in your area, and to write your editor directly, and share your comments with those who can make changes.

It says Around Town but the headline is UTAH. Utah is not near Natick!! I think everyone should notRead More open an article on Patch unless they see their town's name in the headline. The less clicks these Patch sites get, the fewer advertisers they will get and then perhaps they will realize if we want sensational news from across the country we'd go back to Patch's former owners AOL and the HuffPost! Passover eatures six symbolic foods, including matzo, a cracker-like unleavened bread symbolizing the Exodus from ancient Egypt when there was not enough time to let the bread to rise. Patch file photo.

"A number of contemporary scholars believe the story of the Exodus is apocryphal and that theRead More Israelites were never among the peoples subjugated by the ancient Egyptians. Correction: You state: "Unlike most Jewish holy days, there is no synagogue service forRead More Passover, although some congregations and other organizations conduct Seders." In fact, there is a holiday service for the first two days and the last two days of Passover, as there is for the other pilgrimage festivals of Sukkot, and Shavuot. On the last day of the holiday, next Tuesday, the Yizkor service, a memorial service for the dead is added to the service.

John Chrusciel April 14, 2014 at 02:21 pm
Decaturette back in the days before collapsible steering shafts it was a bad idea to wear a seatbeltRead More because during a head on collision the steering shaft would act as a spear and run you through. I never wore a seat belt my old MGA or TR3. However, this is no longer a problem because of modern design and engineering. Some people will hem and haw about being t-boned at an intersection and the harm that a three point harness can do. I personally know many people who have had their lives saved by seat belts. I always wear mine. They should afford children the same opportunity to protect themselves. A 25 mile per hour head on collision with another vehicle travelling at 25 miles per hour is like a 50 mile per hour collision. So I do not buy the argument about shorter distances nor do I buy the article about lower driving speeds. What can is cost to have simple lap belts installed in a school bus? Are we that greedy?
Becky April 14, 2014 at 04:03 pm
I think the real reason they don't install them is that it would raise a whole other level ofRead More liability -- like that then they would have to keep the seatbelts in good working order, and maybe enforce that people wear them. Could I sue them because another passenger flew out of their seat and hit me. Etc, etc.

folks, please stop trashing the Mystical church of Jesus over the horrible mistakes of the CorporateRead More church - stop using pedophile priests to denigrate Jesus -- He already warned us all of the demonic forces. Why do you think pedophiles join the church? To tear it down.
Buzz351 April 16, 2014 at 08:07 am
@ Christie, you are correct on why these pedophile priests joined the church. The Blessed VirginRead More Mother appeared to the children of Fatima and demanded that the pope ,along with all the bishops of the world,to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart. After Vatican II the church was swamped with many new priests... many devout communists, Marxists who had no intention of serving God but to destroy souls, ala pedophile priests, and shut down the Catholic Church to forge ahead with their godless communists agenda. Our Blessed Virgin Mother promises a long period of world peace when/if the consecration of Russia takes place. With a large amount of communists infiltrated in the upper ranks of the Vatican it will be a miracle if our current pope heeds the Blessed Mother and performs the consecration. Dominus Vobiscum
