#1 Cochran Acquires Billco Motors, Expands its Presence in the North Allegheny Area

The company now operates 21 dealerships representing 16 domestic and imported brands.

#1 Cochran has added a second Volkswagen franchise to the company’s product portfolio in addition to a Mazda dealership, collision center and used car operation. 

The acquisition of Billco Motors at 11750 Route 19 in Wexford on Tuesday helped solidify the dealer as one of Western Pennsylvania’s largest automotive retailers.

Founded in 1965 as a single-point Pontiac dealership, the company now operates 21 dealerships representing 16 domestic and imported brands at showrooms throughout Monroeville, South Hills, Robinson Township, Allegheny Valley and North Hills, according to the company.

With nearly all of Billco Motors’ 50 employees joining #1 Cochran, the company’s overall team member count will be more than 750.

The expansion marks #1 Cochran’s first entry into North Hills market, which includes Pine Township, Cranberry Township, McCandless, and the move is part of the company's ongoing commitment to serve car buyers throughout all compass points of Pittsburgh.
